Image 1The image was taken in the PAC at Somerset Berkley Regional High School. The image shows leading lines and repetition, as well as great contrast between the lights and the dark. To capture this image I used a slow shutter speed to capture the motion of the lights and it had a shallow depth of field because only the front is in focus ( the lights) and the background is blurred. It was unexpected and came out very intriguing. It has a sense of excitement as well as mysterious because of the blur of the subject in the center.

Image 2I took this image in New York City, daytime close to the world trade center. This image portrays the rule of thirds where the tower is to the right of the image. It was taken from below, pointing up to the tower. The lines and shapes of the trees and tower makes it very intriguing. I took the image with with a faster shutter speed to capture vehicles that were moving down to the bottom of the image as well I was able to capture the smoke from the vehicles. I used a large depth of to capture all the details of the image and make it look very sharp and focused. I choose this image because the new tower was a memorial of the Old trade center and I found it interesting. This image paints a picture of tranquilness.

Image 3This image was photographed at court yard at Somerset Berkley Regional High School. This image has great texture that can be seen in the stones as well there is repetition and patterns that are seen throughout the image. The image was taken from a very close distance and the camera was pointed downward. I used a large depth of field to capture all the details of the stones as well there is contrast between the light and dark stones. I found the pattern and repetition in the stones very interesting. The point of view is very close and I thought that was an interesting angle.

Image 4I took this image in Somerset, Ma. The image has a line going through it which leads the eye through the image. The image has a lot of negative space which highlights the power lines and tree. I used ISO100 and a fast shutter speed to capture the image. I focused on the power line which is the focal point of the image. It gives off a serious mood because of the lines , shapes and because of being in Black and White. I choose it because it had a different type of mood then my other photos.

Image 5This image was taken from very close and the subject fills the frame. I took this photo from below the subject and it gave me a different perspective and angle. I used a fast shutter speed because it was in the dark. I used a ISO100 to be able capture the details in the image. The image has a humorous mood. I choose it because of the angle and the framing of it.

Image 6This image was taken in Somerset Berkley Regional High School. The shadow makes a interesting shape on the subjects face. The image follows the rule of thirds and was taken straight on. I used a fast shutter speed and a shallow depth field to capture the image. The image is mysterious because half of the face is hidden. I choose this image because of the light illuminating the subjects eyes.
